6º y 7º DÍA EN ESPAÑA

Esta mañana viernes 17, el Alcalde del Boalo, Cerceda y Mataelpino dió la bienvenida a nuestros socios en sus lenguas nativas, lo que les llenó de agradecimiento. El Alcalde fue muy amable demostrando a nuestros visitantes el “Boloencierro”. Mataelpino fue el primer pueblo que presentó un encierro con una bola gigante hecha de poliestireno y donde dicha bola rueda por las calles inclinadas para pillar a los participantes del evento. También les regaló varios libros sobre la Historia de nuestros Concejos. Después tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de unas vistas espectaculares desde el castillo de Manzanares y pudimos apreciar la arquitectura de su Iglesia. Posteriormente, nos fuimos al colegio para comer y después nuestros alumnos de primaria nos mostraron una presentación powerpoint sobre la Historia de España y finalizamos la jornada con una competición deportiva.
El sábado 18, las familias llevaron a sus alumnos al hotel y despedimos a todos los grupos.
Todos lo pasamos muy bien enseñándoles algunos de los monumentos históricos más significativos de Madrid y por supuesto que estuvieran en el colegio con nuestros alumnos. Ahora, gracias a este proyecto, se llevarán algunas de nuestra cultura y costumbres españolas.
Estamos encantados de haber compartido una experiencia inolvidable con ellos y esperamos verles de nuevo en Portugal.

6th and 7TH DAYS IN SPAIN FRIDAY 17thand SATURDAY 18th

This morning our foreign visitors, were welcomed by the Mayor of the Council of El Boalo, Cerceda and Mataelpino, in their native languages, which was received with appreciation. The Mayor was kind enough to give our visitors a demonstration of the event “Boloencierro”. Mataelpino was the first town in the country to hold a “running of the balls”. The event sees participants being “chased”down the sloping streets of Mataelpino by huge polystyrene balls rolling at great speed and gave them gifts of Local History Books. Then, we all had an opportunity to visit the Castle of Manzanares and enjoy the spectacular views from the Castle and the architecture of the local church. Later, we went to school to have lunch. After that, our primary students showed us a powerpoint presentation about the History of Spain and finally, everybody took part in sports competition.
On Saturday 22nd, parents took children to the hotel and departure of all groups. 
We had a great time showing them around some of the most important sites of Madrid and, of course, introducing them to our school and students. Now, thanks to this project, they will bring back with them some of the cultures and customs in Spain.
We are delighted to have had such an amazing time and experience with them. We hope to see them again in Portugal.

 

5º DÍA EN ESPAÑA

 Hoy 16 de abril nos reunimos en el vestíbulo del Colegio a las 8:45 para irnos de excursión a la “Granja de San Ildefonso”. Después nos fuimos a dar un paseo por los jardines. Posteriormente, degustamos la comida típica del lugar y por último nuestros alumnos de primaria y secundaria y profesoras de músicas nos mostraron típicos bailes como “El Chotis” y “Las Sevillanas” y posteriormente todos lo pusieron en práctica. Todos lo pasamos muy bien.

5th DAY IN SPAIN

 Today 16th June, we met in the entrance hall at 8:45 to visit “La Granja de San Ildefonso”. After that, we went for a walk around the amazing gardens. Later,  we also had lunch at a restaurant where we could taste the typical food and finally our primary and secondary students and music teachers showed us typical dancings like “El Chotis” and “Sevillanas” and everybody danced them . We all had a very good time.

4 DÍA EN ESPAÑA

 Hoy 15 de abril nos reunimos en el vestíbulo del Colegio a las 8:45 y nos fuimos de excursión a Cantochino para realizar una ruta por la pedriza y visitar su centro cultural. Después regresamos al colegio donde profesores, Directores, alumnos, representantes del OAPEE y DAT degustamos comida típica española y posteriormente realizamos nuestro segundo taller “Concierto Erasmus +” donde nuestro coro interpretó varias canciones y nuestros alumnos de primaria y secundaria interpretaron diferentes canciones y tocaron diferentes instrumentos como el violín y el piano. Finalmente regresamos a nuestros hogares después de haber disfrutado de un día fantástico.

 

 

4th DAY IN SPAIN

 Today, 18^th April we met in the entrance hall at 8:45. We went on an excursion to Cantocochino to carry out a route around the Pedriza and its cultural centre. Later, we came back to school where teachers, Directors, students and delegations (OAPEE and DAT) tasted the local Spanish cuisine and next, we started with our second workshop “Erasmus + Concert” where our choir sang several songs and our primary and secondary students performed different songs and played different musical instruments like the violin and the piano. Finally, we came back home after having an exciting day.

3º DÍA EN ESPAÑA

 Hoy 14 de abril nos reunimos en el vestíbulo a las 8:45 para irnos de excursión la Catedral de la Almudena y luego vistamos su Museo. De allí partimos al Palacio Real y después nos dirigimos a comer a “La Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios” donde no nos perdimos el paisaje maravilloso de la “Pedriza” y la Sierra de Guadarrama. Después nos fuimos al Colegio donde tuvo lugar un taller de lengua española y pudimos enseñar a nuestros socios profesores y alumnos extranjeros el vocabulario básico de nuestra lengua. Finalmente, nos fuimos a casa a descansar tras una jornada fascinante.

3rd DAY IN SPAIN

Today 14th April, we met in the entrance hall at 8:45 to go on excursion to the Museum and Cathedral of the Almudena. Next, we visited the Royal Palace  and transfered to Colmenar Viejo in the hills close to Madrid to have lunch in “La Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios”. Later, we went to school where our foreign teachers and students took part in a Spanish language workshop and we could teach them some basic vocabulary. Finally, we went home to rest after an amazing adventure.
